Northumbria University can house most first year UK undergraduates from outside the local area and new overseas students who require accommodation and apply in good time. Some UK postgraduates can also be offered accommodation. Because priority is given to new students when offering University rooms, most second and third year students live in privately rented accommodation of which there is a plentiful supply in Newcastle. University residences provide a great environment for UK and overseas students to mix. Students have a unique opportunity to develop culturally as well as academically, as there are students from around the world living in our residences.
